This policy explains what the Rydem app and its companion web portals collect, why, and how to have it deleted. It applies to the Rydem Android app, rydem.in, and the Rydem community and creator portals.
What we collect

We never sell your data. Location data is read only while the app is open and a ride is in progress — Rydem does not track your location in the background, and raw throttle/GPS samples are discarded after they drive the audio and safety score; only aggregate trip totals and XP counters persist.
Data in transit and at rest
All traffic between the app and our servers (Firebase/Google Cloud, project
rydemdb-e02aa) is encrypted in transit. Data at rest is stored in Google
Cloud infrastructure under Google's standard encryption-at-rest guarantees.
Delete your account and data
Full step-by-step instructions, what gets deleted, and what's retained (and why) live on their own page: rydem.in/delete-account. Short version — email aupesbox@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Rydem account," and it's done within 30 days. You can also request deletion of a single piece of data (one post, your purchase history) instead of the whole account.
Your rights
- Request a copy of the data associated with your account
- Request correction of inaccurate account data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data (see above)
- Withdraw microphone/location permission at any time from your device's app settings — this disables the features that depend on it, not the rest of the app
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change and, for significant changes, we'll note it in the app.
