These terms apply to the Rydem Android app, rydem.in and the Rydem web portals (together, "Rydem"), operated by Aupesbox Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. By using Rydem you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Rydem. How we handle your data is described separately in our Privacy Policy.

1. Ride safely and within the law

• You are responsible for riding safely and obeying traffic laws at all times. Rydem is never a reason to take your attention off the road.
• Engine sound is meant for private listening through a helmet headset. Do not play it through a loudspeaker in public, and do not set the app up or touch the screen while riding.
• Speed, distance, safety scores and XP are estimates for information and fun. They are not certified measurements and must not be relied on for safety, legal or insurance purposes.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to use Rydem.
• Keep your account secure and use your own identity. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

3. Community guidelines

Rydem's feed, clubs, chats, events and ride shares are for riders to share rides and help each other. You must not post, upload or send:

• Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of anyone
• Hate speech or content attacking people for who they are
• Sexual content or nudity, or anything that sexualises minors — we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material and report it to the authorities
• Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies harm
• Content that promotes dangerous or illegal riding — street racing, stunts on public roads, speeding, or riding impaired
• Illegal activity, drugs, weapons, or anything that breaks the law
• Spam, scams, misleading offers, or unsolicited advertising
• Impersonation of another person, rider, club or organisation
• Someone else's personal information — including their location, phone number or photos — without their permission
• Content you do not have the right to share, or malware and harmful links

4. Reporting and blocking

Every post, comment, chat message, club, event and ride share has a report option, and you can block any rider so you no longer see their content. We review every report. For anything urgent or unsafe, also write to us at aupesbox@gmail.com.

5. Enforcement

If content or behaviour breaks these terms, we may remove the content, restrict features, or suspend or close the account, with or without notice. Illegal content may be reported to the authorities.

6. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give Aupesbox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share it within Rydem for as long as it is on Rydem, solely to operate the service. Feed posts are deleted automatically after 15 days, and you can delete your own content at any time.

7. Live location sharing

Sharing your live location with a club is off until you turn it on. While it is on, every member of that club can see where you are — and anyone can join a club. Only share with riders you trust, and turn it off at any time.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

• Premium and other in-app purchases are sold through Google Play. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow Google Play's policies; you can cancel a subscription at any time in the Play Store, and it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Features included in a plan may change over time; we will not remove a core feature from a period you have already paid for.
• Orders for the Rydem sensor are confirmed individually. The price, delivery estimate and refund terms are given to you in writing before you pay.

9. Rydem's content

The Rydem app, its sounds, designs and brand belong to Aupesbox or its licensors. You may not copy, resell or reverse-engineer them except as the law allows.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Rydem is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Aupesbox is not liable for accidents, injuries, traffic fines, data loss or indirect losses arising from your use of Rydem, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date above will change, and for significant changes we will ask you to accept them again in the app.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.
